Teaching Resources

1 Mzingazi Orphanage
This orphanage has come into being out of shear necessity as a result of children being left without anyone to take care of them primarily due to the death of their parents from complications from AIDS. There are currently six children and two adults living in two rooms of an uncompleted house.  We are currently raising funds for the completion of this building.  Our first goal is to get the roof on the rest of the house and get the building secure by getting all the exterior Windows and doors installed.
2 Living Stones Covenant Church Orphanage
Pastor Clement Masondo recently took a pole of children living in the immediate area surrounding his church and discovered that there are 33 kids that have lost one or both of there parents and are being taken care of grand parents or siblings or not at all and who were not getting at least one good meal a day. Pastor Clement and his wife Thuli along with the congregation of their church have taken on the responsibility to caring for all of these kids.
3 Amangwe Village
This is a property owned by Mondi Forestry Estate,  but has been turned over to the Zululand Chamber of Business (ZCB) Foundation.  The buildings on the property used to be used for accommodation for Mondi's forestry works.

4 God's Golden Acre
When we visited this facility in 2004 there were about 92 children living in the facility.  It had recently been the topic of discussion on the Oprah Winfrey show because she was financially supporting about 8 children at the facility.
